It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mamie on April 10, 2014 in Vernon, BC, born June 28, 1921 in Chinook, AB. Mamie was predeceased by her husband Ivor in 1985 and her son David. She is survived by her grandchildren: Dan (Wendy Holmes) Slattery, Gail Slattery, Sheri Buote, Neil Slattery; great grandchildren: Brishen Holmes-Slattery, Shannon Holmes-Slattery, Jennifer Buote, James Buote, and Jordan Boute; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A Funeral Service will be held for Mamie at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Alternatives Chapel (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong, BC) with interment to follow in the Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery.
