Paulin, Ludovic (Vic) passed away peacefully early on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Born in Callander, Ontario on Sept. 3, 1925.

Predeceased by mother Delima (nee Couroux), father Patrick and son Michael (1991). Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Verna Marie.

Lovingly remembered by son Richard (Marina), daughter Celeste (George), daughter Brenda (Tony), 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Dad retired from the Armed Forces in 1974 after 30 years of service including action in WWII and numerous postings within Canada.

Dad loved to travel, providing fond memories of our journeys from the west coast of Canada to the east, visiting friends and relatives along the way. Motorcycles were a big part of his, Mom’s, and his sons’ lives, separately and together.

Vic was an avid curler and achieved a coveted eight-ender, enjoyed golf; and played, coached and watched hockey. He could build or fix anything and was often called upon to repair children’s and grandchildren’s homes. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration service of Dad’s life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 7252 7th St., in Grand Forks on Monday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. with son Richard celebrating. Reception to take place at Holy Trinity Hall. Condolences for the family may be offered at cbaileys@telus.net.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Grand Forks Funeral Home.
