Luba passed away peacefully in her home in Kelowna on May 15, 2017. Luba is lovingly remembered by three siblings and families; her sister Nettie (Paul) Makortoff, of Grand Forks, B.C.; brother Bill of Grand Forks, B.C.; brother Peter of Vernon, B.C. Her friend Jackie was there for Luba for 40 years of her life. She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mabel, brother Mike and twin brother Lonnie and special boyfriend, Jim. Service was held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of Everdeen, Rust Funeral Services, Kelowna, B.C.
