Luba lost her battle with cancer on December 17th, 2012. Survived by her loving husband Stuart Thomas, brother John Panczuk, husband of Marilyn, nephews Chris and Tyler, and niece Tanya. Cherished friend to so many and will always be remembered as a genuine article. Luba grew up in the city but settled in Grand Forks to follow her dream of a hobby farm and kennel. Luba had an endless compassion for those who could not speak; her animals. Her love of animals was never missed by anyone who knew her.
