In loving memory ~
With deep sorrow, the family of Lissi Inman would like to tell her friends and neighbours that she passed away peacefully on September 5, 2022, with her family by her side.
Lissi was predeceased by her husband 'Rusty', her sister Elsie Levin, and her parents, Alfred and Elvira Kristiansen.
Lissi is survived by her daughter Judy (Dennis), son Kerry, granddaughters Amy (Dean) Taylor and Karen Winzoski, grandchildren Hayley and Ryan Taylor. Her nieces Colleen (Stan) Jensen and Susan (Brian) Cosgrove and their families share our loss and special memories.
Lissi grew up in the Alberta Coalbranch and lived many years in Edmonton. Although she lived in Calgary for her last six years she would always say that Midway was her home. With her sister Elsie by her side and with Colleen & Stan's help, she made her little house her home. She was never more proud and happy than when she shared special times with her family and friends. Along the way, she built and treasured her friendship with Ralph and Linda Torske and best buddy, Barbara Smith.
She took up golf at 60 (and played 'til she was 87!) and loved the Kettle Valley Golf Course! She made many friends at her bridge afternoons and loved playing cards in her 'little corner'. She enjoyed coffee at the Saturday morning market, side trips to the casino and joining in a variety of community events. Her sense of humour was enjoyed by all and she was a kind and generous friend.
A special thank you to Colleen and Stan Jensen for the amazing support given during her time in Midway; we will always be grateful.
