Leo Juul Pedersen passed away at Ivy House, Silver Kettle, Grand Forks, B.C. on November 27, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
Leo was born April 3, 1937 in Tulstrup, Denmark to Børge and Edith Juul Pedersen. He is the second son of four children, with an older brother Lykke and two younger sisters, Jonna and Kirsten.
Leo moved to Canada in 1959 when he was 22 years old. He brought his trade of carpentry with him and continued to do it professionally for 36 years. He lived in the Fraser Valley until he moved to Grand Forks in the early 1980's and he never looked back. He had found home! He owned and operated Boundary Septic Service for 16 years until he retired. He was happy spending time in his garden, yard and hanging out in his shop.
Leo was committed to his faith, becoming a Jehovah's Witness in 1972. He had a firm belief in one day living in a paradise on earth(Psalm 37:29) Where death will be no more (Rev. 21:4) This gave him hope and comfort.
Leo is survived by his daughters Anna-Lise (Ed) Hanlon and Louise (Robert) Konkin and his awesome grandchildren, Starsha, Jesse, Shamus, Caleb, Jaden, Mathias, Kalea, Briget and Myah. In Denmark, he is survived by his brother Lykke (Kirsten), his sister Kirsten (Per), nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the health care workers for taking great care of him. We are very lucky to have such incredible people!
