Ken Stewart, beloved husband of Liz Stewart (nee McCardle), of Calgary, AB, passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 83 years.
Ken was born in London, ON, on February 15, 1938, to parents, John and Olive Stewart. Ken married Elizabeth (Liz) McCardle in 1961. Ken worked in the Pulp and Paper Industry for most of his career. When he left the Pulp Industry he bought the Napa Store in Grand Forks, BC. Once Ken fully retired, they settled in Christina Lake, BC. Where he became very involved in the lake community. In 2019, Ken and Liz decided it was time to downsize and move closer to family in Calgary, AB.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Liz Stewart, his children, Michelle (Kelly Prior), Karl both of Saskatoon, SK, Katrina Prasse (Rob Forbes) of Shellbrook, SK, Aaron (Tanja Schlingmann), and Neil (Manon) all of Calgary, AB; and his grandchildren, Candyce, Kory, and Kiera all of Saskatoon, SK, and Olivia of Calgary, AB.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, John, and Olive Stewart; daughter-in-law Terri Stewart, and son-in-law Bruce Prasse.
