JOSEPHINE MYRA DAVIES (Bolduc)

February 21, 2013

Jo was born at Weyburn, Saskatchewan on September 8, 1933 and passed away February 21, 2013 at Ivy Manor in Grand Forks, B.C. She is survived by her common-law husband Robert Dennison, daughter Paula Wolkosky (Dan), son Ken Knapp (Marie), daughter Debbie Hermsen (Albert), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mom had a fulfilled life; she started out living and working on our farm in Saskatchewan, then moved to B.C., eventually travelled to New Zealand, and upon her return lived in Princeton, B.C. until the mid ’70s when she moved to Grand Forks to make this her permanent home. Mom worked for many years at Boundary Lodge as a long term care aid. She was a great cook, gardener and knitter, she loved to go fishing on the ocean and work with Bob in their sawmill up the North Fork. She took great pride as they built their dream log house including the big stone fireplace that kept them warm. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

No service by request. Cremation has taken place. Thank you to the staff of The Silver Kettle Village and Everett and Deborah Baker of Grand Forks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity or the MS society.
