Jonathan Steven Hunt Bezpaluk born in Calgary died suddenly early Thursday, January 7th, 2021, here in Grand Forks at the age of 43.
He is predeceased by his father; Steve Bezpaluk and his older brother Doug Trickett.
He is lovingly survived by his mother Dale Machum, sisters and brother-in-laws Janine Bezpaluk (Ghislain Prince), Dawn (Terry) Wrangler, Denise (Jesse) Holtorf, Stephen Trickett, nephews Brandon and Logan Prince, step-mother Heather Campbell, numerous aunts and uncle and cousins. Also leaves behind his life long friends Riley Holtzman, Scott Meyers, and Shayne Schmidt.
Jon took his welders apprenticeship at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta. He held a Journey-man Welders ticket. His whole working career was as a welder, much of it in Northern Alberta. Jon truly loved living here in Grand Forks and had delighted in exploring the Boundary's mountains, rivers and lakes.
He was, like his family, an avid rock collector. He was truly an animal lover. Jon had a cheerful manor, within his quiet intelligence, an infectious sense of humour and a strong work sense. Jonathan was loved by all who knew him.
A memorial will take place when Covid allows. Burial to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Forks.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to BCSPCA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker Family of Grand Forks Funeral Home gffh@shaw.ca.
