John Strukoff

January 9, 1928 - December 8, 2018
Our dear father John Strukoff passed away peacefully Dec 8, 2018 at the age of 90 yrs. He joined his beloved wife Elizabeth who passed away Nov 2017.
Even though Dad had a grade 4 education, he became a successful logger, buying his own logging trucks and equipment. After a time, Dad and his cousin started a logging company 'Granby Logging'. They provided employment for many in the logging industry.
Dad was predeceased by his parents Pete and Florence, infant son Johnny, and his brothers Peter, Sam and Harry.
Dad is survived by his 3 daughters, Viola (Blair), Ellen (Ray), Janice (John), grandchildren Lisa, Courtenay, Brad and Deanna, 3 great grandsons, and his brothers Bill and Nick.
Thank you to the staff at Boundary Hospital, especially Tracy V. & Kassandra for their compassion, support during this time and to the staff at Boundary Lodge for all your care and kindness this past year.
Celebration of Life for John Strukoff will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 11 am - 1:30 pm. Grand Forks Legion, 7353 6th Street.
