In Loving Memory ~ John Darroch of Greenwood, passed away peacefully in the Sunshine Manor in Grand Forks on May 13, 2020 at the age of 78.
Survived by his wife Margaret Darroch, loving father to Gary Darroch, Alfred Darroch, Michelle and Laurence King, grandfather to Zackary Darroch. A dear brother to Donna Rudow, John Herfort, Alivin Darroch, Raymond and Connie Darroch, Sheila and Albert Subject, Cathy and Dave Smith, Bonnie and Fred Wocks, Roxxane and Greg Bowman, Phyllis and Ted Smith, Dianne Darroch and Douglas Gowing, Patrica and Brian Cuthill, Ralph and Martha Maletta and sister in law Youvone Savage. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents John and Norma (Fisher) Darroch, Brother Gordon Darroch. Sisters Shirley Darroch, Donelda Herfort, Eleanora Larson, Barbara and Robert Mitchell, Lynda Gowing and Shally Ernest, brother in law Ron Rudow, Raymond Savage, Ken Savage and father and mother in law Alfred and Margaret Maletta.
John was born in Listowel Ont. Before moving to Vancouver where he spent years working for Delta plywood until he retired in 1992 making a move out of the city into a small area in Greenwood. He was a member of the Greenwood legion where he liked going play crib and playing his knives on music nights. He will be missed by many.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later time. Cremation arrangements were trusted to Grand Forks Funeral Home gffh@shaw.ca
