On January 6, 2018 Jack Kambeitz passed away at the age of 94 and is now in the hands of Jesus.

Jack was born in Kendal, Saskatchewan and farmed in Tyvan, Saskatchewan, married Regina Gartner October 18, 1949, and had two children.  In 1956 the family of 4 moved to Balcarres, Saskatchewan, where they worked in the family bakery business.  Jack was later employed at the Balcarres hospital as maintenance, where he remained until his retirement. 

Jack and Regina enjoyed their retirement at Katepwa Lake until moving to Grand Forks in 2005, to be closer to family.

Jack's faith in God remained strong and he passed away peacefully, with his close family by his side.

Jack is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters, wife Regina and great grandson Max Milaney. He is survived by his sister Ella Schaefer and many nieces and nephews, daughter Diana (Wayne) Christensen, son Ken (Laurie) Kambeitz, grandchildren Renee Milaney, Reid (Maja) Kambeitz, great grandchildren Jade Milaney and Jack Kambeitz, and all his extended family grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jack will always be remembered as a good man who loved family deeply and took great joy in collecting and sharing his treasures.

"I shall pass through this world but once.

Any good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show any human being, let me do it now.

Let me not defer or neglect it,

For I shall not pass this way again."

A graveside prayer and celebration of life will be held in July, 2018 in Grand Forks, exact date to be announced.
