James McDowell Gillespie, 80, of Grand Forks. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jim, on November 12, 2013, in Kelowna. Jim had endured illness for the past 20 years and is now at rest. Survived by his loving wife Vivian; daughter, Susan Mikitka; son, Doug (Pat) Zorn; granddaughter, Kenna Mikitka; 3 grandsons, Dylan (Amy), Shane (Shannon); and Cody Zorn; and the delight of his life, 4 great-grandsons, Brennan, Paxton, Declan and Cameron.
Cremation has taken place. No service by request. Profound thanks to all who cared for Jim.
