In loving memory ~
Born in Cascapedia, Quebec, his childhood was spent in Montreal and Vancouver. As a young man he attended UBC and embarked on world travelling adventures. In 1970 with his then wife Beverly he settled in Grand Forks, B.C. where they raised 3 sons in a cabin by July Creek.
With great pride he coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, memorably winning a regional championship. He was a true nature lover, finding joy in cross-country and downhill skiing, biking and walking in the woods. A poet at heart, a guitar strummer, a word wanderer, a tone tumbler, creating compositions in celebration of family, forest and feeling.
In recent years he moved to Vancouver Island to be closer to his grandchildren and family. He passed peacefully surrounded by love. We ask that donations be made in his name to Phoenix Ski Hill, a place of great joy for him.
