May 27, 1931 - August 22, 2023
Ina passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023, with her loving husband of 66 years, Homer Good.
Survived by her husband Homer, sons Mark (Faye), Kelly (Lisa), and Duane (Chris), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ina was born in a small town of Kinistino, Saskatchewan, on May 27th, 1931. She graduated as a registered nurse in 1955 and was married to Homer in the fall of 1956. Shortly after being married in Saskatchewan, they moved out to B.C. to start their life together, living in many communities throughout the province where Homer was working. She worked as a nurse in small towns before finally settling in Grand Forks in 1979.
She was on the board of Eastern Star for some years and filled her time golfing at Christina Lake in the summers and curling in the winters, making many friends along the way. They spent some time as snowbirds, traveling to Arizona with friends. Ina was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Grace, and brothers Warren and Keith.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the management and staff of Boundary Lodge, Hardy View Lodge, and Silver Kettle Ivy House for their care and support over the last several months.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
