Harvey Edward Kopas was born in Bella Coola, B.C. on October 4, 1942 and passed away in Grand Forks, B.C. on April 23, 2016.
He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Mae Kopas. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Audrey (Grand Forks) and two sons, Roland (Sandy) of Christina Lake, Darcy (Robin) of Nelson and two granddaughters, Ayanna and Kinti. Also, his sister Rene Morton (John) of Bella Coola, three brothers, Leslie and Paul Kopas of Vancouver and Keith (Joanne) of Calgary and two nephews and two nieces.
Harvey was a honourable, sincere, fun-loving man who loved the outdoors especially hiking in the mountains. He will be missed.
A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker family of Grand Forks Funeral Home, gffh@shaw.ca
