Harold Ameel Pederson died at Golden and District Hospital on July 9th, 2020 at the age of 86 years. There will be no formal service at this time.
Harold was born at home on January 18, 1934 in Springhill, Nova Scotia to George and Pearl Pederson. He was a man of his word and if wealth was measured by the love of his family, he was a very wealthy man. Harold and Helen always had an open-door policy for their children's friends; like their own seven kids were not enough. Many of his children's friends were also part of Harold's extended family.
Harold was predeceased by his parents George and Pearl Pederson, son Richard Miles Pederson and grandchildren; Cheryl Breton and Michael Suhan. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Pederson; children: Joy (Dennis) Dick of Kamloops, Lee (Dawn) Pederson of Radium, Pam (Bernie) Sander of Golden, Stephen (Imelda) Pederson of Radium, Karen (Steve) Rowland of Golden, and Lawrence (Lisa) Pederson of Golden; brother Carson Pederson of Trenton, Ontario; grandchildren: Shane Breton, Jason Huzina, Harold Lee Pederson, Bryanna Daugherty, Michael Sloan, Daniel Sander, Nicole Libich, Stephanie Rowland, Chastity Smith, Jennifer Stonehouse, Karli Horeczy, Kyle Horeczy, Cristal Pederson, Helen Pederson, George Pederson, Miles Pederson and Derek Suhan and well as numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
