Gladys Floyd, of Grand Forks, passed away peacefully at Hardy View Lodge on June 22, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
Gladys was born to parents Cecil Seymour and Leah (Boot) Floyd, and raised in Greenwood and the family's farm just east of Greenwood. After post-secondary education in Nelson, Gladys settled in Grand Forks and worked for many years with the BC Department of Highways. Gladys enjoyed travelling, history, volunteering, knitting, reading and spending time at her beloved Jewell Lake cabin.
Gladys was predeceased by her two brothers, John Maxwell (Jack) and James Lionel (Jim).
Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Greenwood Library.
