GERRY RENNETTE
It is with great shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gerry Rennette. He and Gail were on a wonderful trip to the Philippines where he suffered a massive heart attack on February 7, 2011.
Gerry retired here from Toronto eight years ago. He loved life and loved having a good time. He was an avid outdoorsman who was never too busy to drop everything to go quadding, camping, fishing or just sit with a friend for a beer.
Gerry would be the first one on-site if anyone needed help with anything. He put in many a hot water tank, water softener and what have you, for friends and friends of friends.
We will miss you Gerry.
Funeral services are being arranged by Highland Funeral Home, 10 Cachet Wood Courts, Markham, Ontario, L6C-3G1. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favourite charity.
At some point in the fairly near future, a celebration of Gerry’s life will be held by his family, here in Grand Forks. We will place an ad in the Gazette at that time.
