October 8, 1938 to March 17, 2012
Geraldine Ann Broadfoot was granted her angel wings on March 17, 2012, at the Vancouver General Hospital. She was 74. Her final days and hours were spent surrounded by her loving children.
Geraldine was born at Nelson, B.C., on October 8, 1938, the daughter of the late Candie and Jamie Broadfoot. Most of her adult life Geraldine lived at Grand Forks, B.C. Until her retirement - Geraldine worked at the Grand Forks Hospital. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League.
Geraldine is survived by her loving children of five (who dearly love and miss her): Kim, Dawn, Tracy, Guy and Cherie. She is the proud grandmother of seven and extremely proud great-grandmother of eight. Geraldine will be deeply and sadly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Denise Broadfoot; her aunt, Nora Hunt; cousins: Christine and Charlene Hunt; and Charlene’s daughter, Taylor. There are many, many others who will miss her deeply – her laughter, her singing, her dancing, her cooking, her amazing story telling, her smile, her love of animals and most of all her unconditional love which will not cease - even in her passing.

Thinking of you Mom, but that is nothing new - I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too. I'll think about you tomorrow, and as the years come and go I'll think about you forever, because I love you so.
We pray that in heaven there will be rainstorms and a sandy beach with a soft ocean breeze, the sound of raindrops on a tin roof and the sound of wind-chimes blowing in the wind – till we see you again face-to face... Love forever and always Kim, Dawn, Tracy, Guy and Cherie
