George Ritco was born in 1923 and passed away peacefully on March 12, 2011, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his wife Grace, and sons Ken and Clim. He is lovingly survived by his children: George Jr, Robin Engerdahl, Ron, Dale and Dan; by his brothers, Dick and Pete; by his sister, Ollie; by his 10 grandchildren and his 10 great-grandchildren.
George was a long time farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crib and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
A service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georges’ name may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 59 or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Grand Forks Funeral Home had care of arrangements.
