George was born on June 05, 1938, at Grand Forks, and passed away on July 06, 2011, at Christina Lake Manor at the Boundary Hospital at the age of 73.
George is predeceased by his parents, Frances and Louis Rossi. He is lovingly survived by Frank (brother) and Sally Rossi, Mary Stushnoff (sister), Flora (sister) and Lynn Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.
George was a lifetime resident of Grand Forks. He helped run the family business, L. Rossi Shoe Repair, for many years.
Prayers will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, 7:00pm at Sacred Heart Church. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, with a Christian burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff who took care of George at Christina Lake Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of choice.
