It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear Husband, Dad and Deda, Fred Semenoff.
He left peacefully in his sleep surrounded by the love of his family.
He is survived by his wife Shirley - they shared sixty years together - his sons Dmitri (Jennifer), Eddie (Elena), and his wonderful grandchildren Miles and Anna.
He was a man of many talents who could build or fix anything.
He worked in many trades over the years including forestry, road building, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding, construction and farming.
He loved nature, his orchard, gardening, picking wild asparagus, mushrooms and berries and he always knew a few special secret spots where wild things grew.
He cared for all farm animals and always had a dog by his side. Most of all he loved his family and truly enjoyed his life, as we all did having him in ours.
We will miss him terribly and he will always be a cherished memory.
Thank you to Dr Szynkaruk and all the wonderful caregivers in Grand Forks. No service by request.
Cremation entrusted to Grand Forks Funeral Home.
