Florence Kalmakoff

October 3, 1934 - January 9, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Baba and Big Baba Florence. She passed peacefully at Rezansoff Cottage in Hardyview Lodge surrounded by love. Greeting her in heaven is her loving husband Alex, whom she had missed so much, parents, Nick and Polly Hermakin, brother Peter, sister Greta, granddaughter Bailey and grandson Derek as well as many friends, relatives and pets.
She is survived by her daughters Kathlyn LaBossiere (Michael), Laurie Bruchet (Tony), Donna Olson (Mark), son Jim Kalmakoff and her grandchildren Chelsea (Will), Matthew (Elena), Kevin (Ashley), Nicholas (Brittany), Troy (Ashlyn) and great-grandchildren Kearra, Eva, Ellie, Kallen and Maxcine who she dearly adored.
Funeral services were held at the USCC Community Hall on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 and Florence was laid to rest at the Sion Cemetary with her family and friends.
The family would like to express their since appreciation to the staff at Hardyview Lodge for their compassion, care and support.
