Florence “Flo” Tannis Fuhr

It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Tannis (Flo) Fuhr. Tannis passed away suddenly and unexpectedly with extended family and close friends at her side in her winter home in Rincon De Guayabitos.

Flo will be greatly missed and remembered by her loving partner Robert Irvin of Grand Forks, B.C.; children, Trevis (Amber) Booker of Pink Mountain, B.C. and Krystal (Russel) Booker-Chang; grandson Nixon Booker-Chang of Surrey, B.C.; her mother Doris Fuhr of CR, B.C. and siblings, Beatrice Meston and family of Parksville, B.C.; Angela Fuhr, Bonnie Fuhr and son all of Campbell River, B.C.; Carl (Lolis) Fuhr and family of Courtney, B.C.; Eric (Cathy) Fuhr and family of Campbell River, B.C., Betty Fuhr and family of Victoria, B.C. and Edgar Fuhr of Campbell River, B.C.

She will also be remembered and missed by many extended family and countless friends near and far. Also her “Conga Family” whom she travelled much of the U.S. and Canada with as she helped raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. Their call to arms “Kick Cancer to the Curb”.

Flo had a good heart an adventurous spirit and was a woman of many hats, always ready to try new things and happy to share them with whomever would join her. Adios Amiga. “GO WITH THE FLO”.

Celebration of Life to be held at the Eagles Hall, Campbell River, B.C. April 15, 3 p.m. - 1 a.m.
