Florence (Chursinoff) Arishenkoff passed away peacefully at Hardy View Lodge on October 17, 2014. Florence was born in 1926 in Runnymede Saskatchewan to Pete N. and Fedosia Chursinoff. Florence lead an active life and was always busy. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling, playing cards and bingo, gambling at the casino, making quilts and working on puzzles. She also enjoyed many sports and volunteered for many years at the Labour Day Baseball Tournament, where she will be remembered for her cinnamon buns. Florence enjoyed living at Hardy View Lodge and had a special group of friends. She especially liked her many outings and activities with Roslyn and Yvonne. Florence was predeceased by her husband Mike (July 2011), her parents, and siblings Nick, John, Pete, Bill, Alex, and Mary. She is survived by her children Gloria (Bob), Donna (Kieron), Tony (Carlene), Monya (Ez); grandchildren Jennifer (Grant), Baron, Anna, Stephanie, Dee (Dale), James, Kristina (Tyson); great grandchildren Brianna, Devin, Tomas and Georgia; sister in law Mary Chursinoff, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Florence was laid to eternal rest at the USCC Sion Cemetery on October 21. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Grand Forks Funeral Home.
