Evelyn Rougeau (NEE Casavant) born February 25, 1945 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, sadly lost her courageous battle against cancer on February 23, 2013 at the age of 67. Evelyn resided in Grand Forks, B.C. for over 30 years. She leaves behind her husband Roland Rougeau, son Rick and Sabrina (wife) Rougeau, daughter Jacquie Rougeau, plus five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her five siblings, plus numerous nephews and nieces. Evelyn was surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings on the final leg of her journey home. She will be sorely missed. There will be a memorial mass service on Friday, March 8 at 1:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 828 Laval Square, Coquitlam, B.C., followed by a celebration of life in their St Ann’s upstairs hall. We will have an open microphone for all to share their memories of Evelyn at this time with the intent to celebrate these words; “Live to Love, Love to live” her favourite saying. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
