Ernie Mihalick was born to Mary and John, in Pine Falls, Manitoba, January 22, 1935 and he passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 in Grand Forks, B.C. with his loving sister and brothers by his side.
Ernie was predeceased by parents, Mary and John, partners Bernice and Adina, brother Shane, sister Sally and an infant brother. Ernie was the 3rd child of twelve. He is survived by siblings; Betty (Don), Don (Midge), Lillian (Bill), Johnny (Jo-Anna), Ronnie, Roy (Wanda), Ginger (Barry) and Cindi (Jack). He is also survived by his Aunt Minnie of Winnipeg.
Ernie loved country and western music and played with a passion the Gibson guitar purchased by his mother who nurtured and encouraged his musical talents.
Special thanks go out to a caring and supportive brother Ronnie, and special sister Betty, who spent the last few months taking care of all of Ernie’s needs. A heartfelt thanks go out to the doctors and the home care nurses who took care of Ernie.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, November 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Grand Forks, B.C. Interment to take place at Evergreen Cemetery with Reception following.
