It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother who has gone
to be with our Lord. Ella was born at Saskatchewan and the ninth of 11 children to Frank and Rosalie (Seely) Wortman.
She will be sorely missed by her son, Richard Glenn Glover; daughter, Ginny Lynne Peters (born in Central Patricia, Ontario); sister, Kay Veitch; grandchildren: Danielle Glover, Sarah Symes, Kyle Glover, Stephen Glover and Tammy Hicki; and great-grandchildren: Jason Peters and Chelsea Rus; along with other family members and friends.
Ella lived a vibrant life. Growing up in Saskatchewan, she loved to ride her horse ‘Patsy’. Ella and Dick were married on June 13, 1942, and raised their children at Winnipeg. Ella loved to curl, travel, join friends at aqua fit, walk her dog, watch curling, knit, crotchet and hook rugs. Ella possessed integrity and style.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hardy View for their care and compassion. Ella will be laid to rest beside her husband at Glenavon, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker family of Grand Forks Funeral Home, Grand Forks, B.C.
