It is with great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Dorothy (Dot) Louise Campbell of Abbotsford, B.C. She passed away at The Trillium Bevan Lodge on July 21, 2014 at the age of 99. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Roy (Loretta) Campbell of Aldergrove, B.C. and Jack (Anna) Campbell of Victoria B.C.; her grandchildren, Scott (Stephanie) Campbell of Edmonton, AB, Kevin Campbell and Tracy (Mike) Opp of Abbotsford, B.C. and Darren Campbell of Winnipeg Manitoba; and her great-grandchildren Abigail, Benjamin and Timothy Opp. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings. She was born and raised in Calgary, AB, on Oct. 18, 1914. She married Jack (Bud) Campbell and lived for a few years in Trail, B.C. until moving to Grand Forks in 1950, She was a dedicated wife and mother while her husband “Bud“ spent long hours running the Sunshine Valley Dairy. Due to failing health and a desire to be closer to the rest of the family, Dot and Bud made the difficult decision to move to a retirement home in Abbotsford in the summer of 2004. We wish to thank all the staff and medical personnel at Bevan Lodge for taking such good care of her, especially during her last few days.
