Johans, Doris (Dora) Straloff, Chernenkoff passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Village By The Station Penticton, B.C. Doris was born October 13, 1927 in the Kootenays.
Doris was active and especially loved golfing. Always walked the courses. Refusing a ride on a golf cart, even in her 80's. Doris' life was challenging at times but she never gave up. She worked hard and provided a comfortable home for her girls.
A very warm grandmother and parent, provided wonderful hospitality and spoiled the family with Doukhobor meals. Our Blue-eyed Mama will be missed.
Doris leaves four girls, Elaine, Linda, Marlene and Sherry and many relatives, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. No service by request this year. Doris to be laid to rest Mothers Day, 2022, Sion Cemetery, Grand Forks, B.C.
