Suddenly June 17th, at age 59 Don Mott passed away at his home in Christina Lake B.C. He will be sadly missed by his wife Darcy and beloved Grandchildren Samantha and Ashton Vandal who he helped raise since the tragic passing of their Father Gerry in 2006. His calm and gentle manner and guidance helped Sam and Ashton to be the children they are today and will become tomorrow. In his last days he was proud to watch his Granddaughter graduate and be accepted into Selkirk College. An avid Nascar fan who loved the lakes, rivers and to fish with his pal Whiskey. Left to mourn his passing, are his large family in Chatham-Kent Ontario and Edmonton. Sisters Crystal, Tracy, sister-in-law Evelynn of Illinois, Daniel Parisien and Claudette. His extended family here Brian Graham and his son Connor. Numerous friends too many to mention at the Lake and in Vancouver. Cremation has taken place, interment at future date. As per his wishes no services held. But as wanted that all to remember him as “Happy Don” in their own way. Party and carry on. “Love you and miss you Grandpa.”
