November 5, 1938 - February 23, 2022
Darwin Timothy Benson passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2022 in Langley, BC. Darwin was born at the family home on November 15, 1938 in Ivanhoe, Ontario.
Over the course of his life his love of helping people and helping to make the world a better place was unprecedented.
As an Honorary Life Member of the NDP he was always campaigning for the next candidate. He worked for many years in the labour movement and then later in Human Resources.
He also always put his spare time to good use by volunteering at food banks and as a hospice driver taking patients from rural areas to doctor appointments. He was an avid outdoorsman and never missed a hunting season or an opportunity to go camping with his long time friends.
Darwin is survived by his daughter, Heather, and his grandchildren Samantha and Jonah.
