Clint was born in Dryden, Ontario on December 29th, 1940. He lived most of his life in the Okanagan Valley and Grand Forks. He is survived by two children from his first wife, Margaret. He was extremely proud of his daughter and son. Karin(Dave Oakes), his daughter, works as the manager of the Registration Department with the British Columbia Security Commission in Vancouver. Clint’s son, Michael is a trained sous-chef and lives in Vancouver as well. Clint and his wife of 41 years, Jan, moved to Grand Forks in September of 1979 where they opened Clint’s Barbershop. Clint worked as a barber for over 50 years. He enjoyed both cutting hair and socializing with his customers. One of the highlights of his career was cutting John Diefenbaker’s hair. Clint also worked for 20 years as a scuba diver for BC Hydro. Clint loved his community and socializing with people. He was an avid people watcher and always willing to share a joke or a story. He enjoyed travelling and riding his motor bike. He was especially fond of his two Springer Spaniels, Ari and Izzy. Clint has requested no funeral.
