It is with sadness that the family of Clare Wiebe of Abbotsford, formerly of Grand Forks, announce his peaceful passing in Abbotsford Hospital with his family by his side. Clare taught at the Grand Forks Secondary school from 1973 – 1995. He is survived by Jan, his wife of 45 years. Also surviving are his daughters Kristine (Steffen) Sawchuk, and Jennifer (Trevor) Friesen; sister Elsie and family; and brother Lenard and family. He was predeceased by his parents and son Andrew (2001). A service has been held. Donations in his memory may be made to the Pines Bible Camp or the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
