March 5, 1939 - March 14, 2020
Our wonderful mother, Carol Johnson passed away in Boundary Hospital on March 14th and we are heartbroken. Mom loved her home, her yard and her space and was fortunate to enjoy this sanctuary up until 3 days before her death. She was always very young for her age and enjoyed great mobility and stamina until cancer showed up. Even then, she stayed active and positive, tending a wonderful flower patch and practicing piano. Mom was a very spiritual woman and such an animal lover. She adored anything creative and also enjoyed sports, especially ball.
She had a calendar on the counter that was always filled with some social event or activity because she had a multitude of friends. You almost had to make an appointment! She will be very much missed by her 3 remaining children, (Corie, the eldest daughter passed away tragically in 1978). Left to mourn her are Cindy, (Bruce), Derek, (Nancy), Brian,(Heidi), her 5 grandchildren, her two little great grandbabies and of course her friends. Mom didn't want a service but a family celebration of life will take place. Rest in peace, Mom. We love you!
