Bruce Wm. Cook

January 21, 2020

June 19, 1952 - January 21, 2020
Bruce passed away at Boundary Hospital in Grand Forks, BC after a brief struggle with cancer. There will be a memorial sometime in the Spring.
He was born in Nanaimo, BC the son of Ron and Lavern Cook. He worked as a truck driver and equipment operator for most of his life. He worked for NWT Highway maintenance, on the Alaska Highway and many other employers in Nanaimo and Grand Forks, BC.
He is survived by his sons Codi and Chris Cook and 3 grandsons - Clayton, Owen and Hayden. Also his brothers Brad and Blaine and sisters Wanda and Kerry and numerous nieces and nephews. Also his ex-wife Linda (whom he married in Fort Simpson some time ago).
He was a very good provider to his family and loved fishing trips, camping and being with family and friends (of which he had many). He could be a grumpy guy but had a heart of gold and would help you out if he could. He was, quite honestly, quite a character and they don't make guys like him anymore.
Hoist one for Bruce!
