It is with deep sadness we announce the passing our our beloved Bonnie on March 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her distinctive laugh and love of life will remain in our hearts.
Bonnie was born in Vancouver, BC on January 17, 1951. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Douglas and canine companion Zoey; her mother Marjorie Henderson; her daughter Lori (Rod) Edlund of Edmonton, AB; stepdaughter Aura (Scott) Evans of Kelowna, BC; four beautiful grandchildren: Kayla, Dallas, Amber and Rhyland; her sister Leslie (Gary) Redmond; nephew Justin (Christina) and grandniece. She is leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends whose lives she touched along the way.
As per Bonnie’s wishes there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of her life will be held April 27 at the Christina Lake Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boundary Community Hospice Association or a charity of your choice.
