It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter and sister Bailey in Langley, B.C. at

age 30. She is survived by her father Carl LaBossiere of Langley, her mother Kathy LaBossiere and stepfather Michael Makortoff of Grand Forks, sister Chelsea, grandparents Alec and Florence Kalmakoff, close friend Garnett and extended family and friends. Predeceased by grandparents Antonin and Therèse LaBossiere.

Bailey was raised in Grand Forks, B.C., and from the moment of her birth she brought a sense of joy that will be with us forever. She was a kind soul who always rooted for the underdog, and would go out of her way to help others. She was also a hard worker, with a stubborn determination. And she loved life, whether looking after and enjoying her beloved pets, cooking up delicious perogies and chocolate pie for friends, or riding around in her ’83 Mercedes. Even during times of difficulty, she would greet you with a sparkling smile and talk about the positive things of life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bailey’s name to the SPCA or to the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held at Grand Forks Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9 at 10:00 am.

~ Bailey, we love you – We will always cherish the

wonderful memories, and you will remain in our hearts forever.
