Archie Joseph Johnson passed away Wednesday February 3rd in the Grand Forks Hospital after a lengthy illness. Archie was a leap year baby born on February 29, 1933 in Bothwell, Ontario. Over the years he had numerous jobs including Kettle Valley Railway, West Kootenay Power and Phoenix Mine until it's closure. It was his employment with West Kootenay Power that brought him to Christina Lake where he met and married Wynone McGregor who predeceased him in December of 2009. Archie enjoyed his snowmobiles and belonged to the Christina Lake Bush Cats back in the day. He liked to go for coffee and visit with his friends at Christina Lake.He was predeceased by his father and mother Cecle Howard and Amy Maud Johnson, his brother Bill and sister Marie., He is survived by Sisters Vina (Cal) of Tumbler Ridge, Violet of Prince George and Brother Stan. He will be sadly missed by his surviving son Bill and Bill's special friend Joanne.
