Long time Grand Forks resident, Annie Johnson, passed away at Hardy View Lodge on April 4, 2011. She was 95 years old. On November 18, 1915, Annie was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Furze at Clayton, Washington.
In 1974 Annie and her husband Henry Johnson moved to Grand Forks. Annie’s hobbies included gardening, sewing, needlework and crafts. She was very active in the local fair and won numerous awards for her needlework and crafts.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband Henry. She is survived by her son Albert Johnson of Springdale, Washington; daughter Alice Gommoll of Redmond, Oregon; and three grandchildren.
