In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Lehman, aged 74, who left us peacefully surrounded by family and love. Born in Goderich, Ontario, on February 7, 1951, Anita lived a life marked by compassion, curiosity, and joy.
Anita was a woman of many passions. Her love for flowers and gardening was matched only by her talent in the kitchen, where she delighted family and friends with her cooking. She had a deep appreciation for books and travel, always eager to explore new places or immerse herself in a good story. She believed in making moments meaningful and was the heart of every gathering.
Anita was predeceased by her father Jack, her brothers Steve and Jeff, and her grandson Jacob. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience in her husband Dale; her children Kari (Grant), Robyn (Frank), Brian, and Les (Ming); her grandchildren Lane (Serena), Erin (Dylan), Quinn, Jade, and Ryder; her great-grandchildren Beatrix and Jax; and her mother Marion and brother Mark.
Anita's warmth, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. As we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless ways she touched the lives of others.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Anita's name to the Southern Okanagan Association of Integrated Community Living, P.O. Box 138, Oliver, BC V0H 1T0 — a cause close to her heart.
"The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you, shall never pass away."
