It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Andy. He passed away in the company of his wife in The Grand Forks Boundary Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Marlene Brown, his son Clifford Brown, daughter Karen Brown, and sister Eleanor Graham.
He was Born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada in his twenties. He worked at The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for 28 years. He was transferred to Grand Forks in 1980 where he quickly settled in to a community that he loved.
He can be remembered as an avid curler who frequented The Grand Forks Curling Club and as the town's best Bingo caller. I'm sure he is looking down at us all with a joke ready and a smile on his face.
