On December 26, 2017, Aleksander Fojt passed away suddenly and joined the Lord at the age of 51.
Alek is lovingly survived by his wife Shawna, son Jonathan and daughters Alicia and Amanda.
He is also survived by his mother Krystyna; father Henry; sister Kasia Orlow (Adam); sister Agnieszka; his nephews Krys and Jeremy; and his niece Marysia.
Alek was born on December 12, 1966 in Namyslow Poland. In 2008, Alek and his family moved to Grand Forks where he was self-employed in his company Total Finish Contracting.
Alek was actively involved in his church, Gospel Chapel. He was an avid gardener and loved home projects where he could be innovative.
He lived his faith for God and loved his family dearly.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Gospel Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Fojt Family Fund established at the Grand Forks Credit Union.
