It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet and loving father, Albert Joseph Scafetti. Albert passed away Wednesday, February 11 in Grand Forks, British Columbia at the age of 87. Father to Marnie Hubber, Rick Cousins (Lynn), John Cousins (Josie) and Lisa Sukoveoff (Bill). Cherished grandfather of Darlene, Marilyn, Marnie, Rick, Willie, Justin, Adam, Gregory, Helena, Joey, Melissa and Amanda. Beloved great-grandfather of Shane, Cianna, Chase and Shaelyne. Albert was predeceased by his soulmate and partner Helen Scafetti, son Gregg, son-in-law Bob and brothers Oswald and Joseph. He was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario where he worked nearly 40 years at Stanley Works. Albert loved gardening, the outdoors and the horse races. A Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, February 13th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Albert will be laid to rest with his wife at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster, Ontario.
