Jul 24, 1981 - Jan 25, 2018
Aaron passed away on 25th of January, 2018 at VGH after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and passed peacefully from this world. Aaron faced many odds throughout his journey with Leukemia, but he traveled through them with hope, always seeking to encourage others. Aaron had a strong faith and knew that God was with him through it all.

Born in Grand Forks on 24th July, 1981, Aaron spent many years enjoying life in the Boundary. He loved fishing and camping, playing sports with his friends, and above all spending time with this family. Aaron spent 3 years living in Tanzania as a child and lived in Kelowna for a few years in his early 20's. But his heart was in Grand Forks and he returned in 2005. Aaron got a job at Roxul and was happy there until he moved to Surrey for a bone marrow transplant in 2014.

Aaron will be deeply missed by his wife Shannon and their 3 children, Adiel (11), Salem (9), and Aleah (7), as well as his parents Rick and Irene and his sister Lisa, also his in-laws Al and Marlene Thompson and brothers-in-law Chris and Justin and their families.

Aaron was loved by so many more, family and friends alike who were touched by his light and laughter. We will miss his jokes, we will miss his smile, but he will live on in our hearts forever.

There will be a celebration of life service for Aaron on Saturday the 3rd of February at 2 p.m. at the Gospel Chapel.
