Witnesses sought for hit-and-run incident on 2nd Street in Grand Forks

A report was received on Sept. 28 at 2:04 p.m. that there was a hit-and-run accident on 2nd Street.

A report was received on Sept. 28 at 2:04 p.m. that there was a hit-and-run accident on 2nd Street that likely happened the night before.

“The vehicle that was hit was parked near Kocomo’s Coffee House and the front passenger side door, fender and bumper were caved in as though someone backed the corner of a trailer into it,” said Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison, adding that scrape marks left on the parked vehicle were green.

RCMP are seeking witnesses related to this incident and people can call 250-442-8288.
