Police are asking for assistance in locating 42-year-old Michael Allan Struthers of Castlegar.
Struthers has an outstanding warrant for assault.
According to RCMP Cpl. James Grandy, Struthers disappeared from his residence after cutting off his ankle monitor bracelet and fleeing.
He was initially believed to be in the Trail area, but may now be in the Nelson area.
He may be driving a blue older model Subaru with no muffler bearing BC licence plate SV055S.
Struthers is described as Caucasian, 6’1” tall, 180 lbs., with blue eyes, and light brown/gray hair.
Struthers is known to be violent and may be in possession of weapons. Do not attempt to approach or apprehend.
