A tent caught fire on 3rd Street early Tuesday morning (Nov. 29).
It spread to a nearby structure before it was put out.
“It caught the structure just south of (the tent), but we managed to contain the burning of the structure to the back corner,” said Grand Forks Deputy Fire Chief Dale Heriot.
“For the most part, the structure is OK except for some extensive charring on the back.”
No one was inside either of the structures, there were no injuries reported and the incident is still under investigation.
