On June 25 at 7:59 a.m., there was a single vehicle rollover on the S curve on Highway 395 near the border.

“There was a Kenworth tractor hauling a B-train loaded with lumber overturned. The driver was transported to Boundary Hospital for minor cuts to the back of his head and there were no other injuries,” Grand Forks RCMP's Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison said, adding that Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) conducted the investigation along with West Kootenay Traffic Services assisting with the investigation being turned over to CVSE to complete.

Harrison said it appeared speed was a factor.
